Alex is a board-certified hearing instrument specialist and has many years of experience wearing hearing aids. He was diagnosed with a hearing loss in the first grade and has a passion for helping others that are hard of hearing. As a person with hearing loss, he understands the challenges that other people with hearing loss face and is acutely aware of the advantages and limitations of hearing aids. He is continually evaluating the latest improvements in hearing technology.
Alex served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Albania for 27 months. He collaborated with the local municipality and residents to fund and install a community playground. His most fulfilling accomplishments involved leading and organizing environmental protection projects with high school students.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Fairfield University. He enjoys playing the guitar, traveling, and trying new foods. Alex has a mild, flat hearing loss on his left ear and a mild-moderate “cookie-bite” loss on his right ear.
